In Triple Science, chemistry is its own GCSE, so you study extra material and in more detail, which helps if you plan A-Level chemistry or medicine AQA GCSE Chemistry at a glance.
Ask your school about Triple Science early. The route you take changes the content load and can affect your post 16 options, so a late switch is painful.
How GCSE Chemistry Is Assessed
Assessment is by written exam papers at the end of the course. In Combined Science the chemistry content is spread across papers that also cover the other sciences; in Triple Science there are dedicated chemistry papers.
